These are the things in my bathroom… the things I send you looking for and you look at me like “What?!”

Aches & Pains:

Po Sum On Oil ($25): You’ve had it if we’ve done cupping! It’s an oil-based liniment with herbal extracts in it to heal sore muscles and joints.

Zheng Gu Shui (aka Evil Bone Water) ($20) : This is for structural issues or bruising.

White Flower Oil ($5): a mix of menthol, eucalyptus, lavender and peppermint ideal for allergies, congestion, clogged ears, and coughs. A little goes a long way.

First Aid:

Yunan Bai Yao ($10): These tiny pills help regulate bleeding and improve healing from any sort of cut. Very useful around surgery!

Qing Wan Burn Cream ($10): I buy this in the BIG tub. For all the little burns and scalds in the kitchen. It’s a thick, healing mix of herbs and sesame oil. This time of year, I mix it with aloe for that first sunburn!

Emily’s Skin Soothers ($5): Emily’s handles all your skin issues. This one is great for all types of hot, angry skin (rashes, new tattoos, eczema/psoriasis, etc)

CBD & Hemp :

Charlotte’s Webb has a variety of flavors and strengths of CBD for internal and external usage. I love the balm for sore muscles and my pups Java and Peanut swear by the chicken-flavored one!

Tinctures are a great way to take CBD for headaches, anxiety, and overall inflammation. They come in three strengths – 7mg, 17mg and 60mg and sizes. Charlotte’s Web has excellent dosing advice on their website. ($30 – $200)

Topicals are always an no-brainer. An unscented cream ($20/$40) and heavy-duty balm ($16/$30) take away those sore spots, achey backs, bad knees, etc.

Last but not least, there are a series of gummies for Recovery – aches and pains, Calm – with lemon balm to reduce stress, and Sleep – with melatonin (a personal favorite!). ($10/$30/$45)

Moxa :

Moxibustion can also be done at home, to keep you feeling good between treatments.

Get a pack of 100 stick-on moxa ($36) – the absolute easiest to use

Or a stick (smoking or smokeless)($5) to warm up points and larger areas of the body.
